This Privacy Policy explains how the UofA BSc Degree Planner (Unofficial) handles information. The planner is a frontend-only tool and does not require user accounts.

We do not require personal profile data (for example student name or student ID) to use the planner. However, if you choose to submit feedback or a community plan through our Google Forms links, you may provide information such as degree combination details, optional social handle, uploaded planner file, and any other information you enter in the form fields.

3. Technical Browser and Hosting Data

Standard technical data may be processed automatically by your browser or hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and request logs. This processing is handled by your browser and hosting provider to deliver and secure the website.

This planner does not use analytics tools and does not include behavior-tracking scripts.

4. Google Forms Submissions

Feedback and plan-contribution forms are hosted by Google Forms. Information submitted through those forms is processed by Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy. If your contribution is selected for listing, your submitted plan details and optional handle may be displayed publicly on this website.

5. How to Interpret Data Handling

Since the application runs in your browser, your planning inputs stay in your local session unless you choose to download or upload a planner file yourself. You are responsible for where you store exported files.

6. Third-Party Links

The website may include external links, including Google Forms and optional donation links. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, terms, and security practices. We are not responsible for third-party data practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
